Residents in the area of Jefferson Street in Canandaigua were without water; and they had a mess on their hands, too.
A water main break on the city street resulted in residents losing water pressure, and a pretty serious street flood in the process.

Water could be seen spilling out of the sight of the main break, which was captured by the Canandaigua Fire Department.
Crews were working on the main break during the late-afternoon and early-evening hours.
